How I work
My ethical approach

My work is grounded in listening, respect, and allowing each session to unfold in its own way. I approach animal communication, energy work, and end-of-life support with care for both the animal and the person who loves them. My role is to support understanding, connection, and presence, not to direct outcomes or make decisions for you.

Core Principles

  • I do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for medical or behavioral conditions.

  • My work does not replace veterinary care or other professional support. I respect their role and may suggest seeking additional support when appropriate.

  • I work with your permission and approach each animal with respect, recognizing they choose how they respond and what they wish to receive or share.

  • Your animal has their own perspective, experiences, and the ability to choose.

  • I work with what you bring to the session, including your questions or intentions, while allowing each experience to unfold in its own way.

  • Sessions are a shared experience, and I work in partnership with you and your animal, not to guarantee specific outcomes.

  • You remain responsible for all care and decision-making for your animal.

  • Your privacy and your animal's privacy are respected, and what is shared is kept confidential.

  • I approach this work with honesty and respect, without imposing my own agenda.

  • I approach this work with humility, recognizing that my own perceptions are part of the process and that I continue to learn and grow.

  • I work with the questions or intentions you bring, while allowing each session to unfold in its own way.

Animal Communication

I connect with your animal to understand their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

I begin by allowing your animal to share what they wish before moving into the questions you bring.

I share the images, sensations, emotions, and impressions I receive as clearly as I can, translating them into words you can relate to.

I encourage you to notice what resonates and what does not, and to trust your own knowing when it comes to your animal.

Nothing is controlled, directed, or overridden in an animal’s behavior.

The intention is to deepen understanding, not to fix or change your animal.

This work supports you in developing your own understanding of your animal and your relationship with them.

Energy Work, including Dolphin and Whale Energy

I work with the intention you bring, creating space for energy to flow and allowing the session to unfold in its own way.

The process follows what arises rather than trying to create a specific result.

Nothing is directed or forced, and your animal receives what they are open to in the moment.

There may be conversation, quiet periods, or both. Each session is unique

Pet Loss and End-of-Life Support

I offer a space to talk through what you are facing, reflect on what matters most, and feel supported during a difficult time.

You are supported without judgment, whatever decisions you are facing.

I do not tell you what decisions to make or when to make them, and I do not predict timing around death or promise specific signs or experiences.

Informed By

My approach is informed by established ethical perspectives in animal communication, energy work, and end-of-life support, including the work of animal communicator Penelope Smith, training in Let Animals Lead® Animal Reiki, the University of Vermont Companion Animal End-of-Life Doula Program, and an Introduction to Pet Chaplaincy course.
