How I work
My ethical approach

These principles reflect who I am. They are the values I bring to every session with you and your animal.

My work is grounded in listening, respect, and allowing each session to unfold in its own way. I approach animal communication, energy work, and end-of-life support with care for both the animal and the person who loves them. My role is to support understanding, connection, and presence, not to direct outcomes or make decisions for you.

Core Principles

  • I do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for medical or behavioral conditions.

  • My work does not replace veterinary care or other professional support. I respect their role and may suggest seeking additional support when appropriate.

  • Your permission and your animal's willingness are both essential. I approach each animal with respect, recognizing they choose how they respond and what they wish to receive or share.

  • Your animal is a sovereign being with their own perspective, feelings, and experiences.

  • An animal may choose not to participate or to disengage from a session, and that choice is always honored.

  • I work with what you bring to the session, including your questions or intentions, while remaining open to wherever the session leads.

  • Sessions are a shared experience, and I work in partnership with you and your animal, not to guarantee specific outcomes.

  • You remain responsible for all care and decision-making for your animal.

  • Your privacy and your animal's privacy are respected, and what is shared is kept confidential.

  • My work is rooted in honesty and respect, with your animal's and your highest good always at the center.

  • Humility is essential to this work. What I receive is filtered through my own perception, and I am committed to continually developing my skills and deepening my practice.

Animal Communication

I connect with your animal to understand their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

I begin by allowing your animal to share what they wish before moving into the questions you bring.

I share the images, sensations, emotions, and impressions I receive as clearly as I can, translating them into words you can relate to.

I encourage you to notice what resonates and what does not, and to trust your own knowing when it comes to your animal.

The intention is to deepen understanding, not to fix, change, or override your animal's behavior.

This work supports you in developing your own understanding of your animal and your relationship with them.

This includes animals who have passed. The connection does not end at death.

Energy Work, including Dolphin and Whale Energy

I hold space with the intention you bring, allowing energy to flow rather than directing it.

The session unfolds in its own way, rather than trying to create a specific result.

You or your animal receive what you are open to in the moment.

There may be conversation, quiet periods, or both. Each session is unique.

I do not diagnose conditions or guarantee specific outcomes. Energy work is offered as support and is not a substitute for veterinary or medical care.

Each person and animal responds differently. Some may notice shifts right away, while others experience changes more gradually.

The energy field of a person and their animal is deeply connected. Supporting one often benefits the other.

Pet Loss and End-of-Life Support

A space to talk through what you are facing, reflect on what matters most, and feel supported during a difficult time.

I approach each person and animal's journey without assumptions, recognizing that every experience of loss is unique.

Finding meaning through loss looks different for everyone, and I hold space for your own personal process.

I do not tell you what decisions to make or when to make them, and I do not predict timing around death or promise specific signs or experiences.

You are supported without judgment, whatever decisions you are facing.

My support is not a substitute for professional mental health or grief counseling, and I may suggest additional resources when appropriate.

Informed By

My approach is informed by established ethical perspectives in animal communication, energy work, and end-of-life support, including the work of animal communicator Penelope Smith, whose code of ethics calls for honoring each animal's sovereignty, serving the highest good of both animals and the people who love them, and communicating with integrity; training in Let Animals Lead® Animal Reiki, which honors the animal's consent and autonomy; the University of Vermont Companion Animal End-of-Life Doula Program, which grounds my support in non-judgmental presence, following the client's lead, and honoring the human-animal bond through one of the most difficult times in a person's life; and an Introduction to Pet Chaplaincy course, which deepens my ability to hold space for grief and the spiritual dimensions of loss, while respecting each person's unique spiritual, cultural, and personal beliefs. You can review the Code of Ethics for Interspecies Telepathic Communicators here (scroll down to that section).
